Terms of Service

RVroute is an AI route-planning service for recreational vehicle (RV) and van-life road trips. It generates suggested routes, campsite lists, supply maps and risk notes, delivered as a downloadable route-book.

• We are not a campsite booking platform. We do not reserve or guarantee any pitch, site or accommodation.
• We are not a roadside-assistance, towing or emergency service.
• We are not a GPS or turn-by-turn navigation provider. Routes are guidance only — always follow official navigation and live road conditions.
• We are not a transport, freight or vehicle-rental business, and no physical goods are shipped.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

The Service is offered on a subscription basis in US dollars (USD). Full billing, auto-renewal, statement-descriptor and cancellation terms are set out in our Subscription & Billing Terms and Refund & Cancellation Policy, which form part of these Terms.

Payments are processed by Stripe, PayPal or Creem depending on your region and chosen method; we do not store full card details. For some purchases, your subscription is sold and your payment is processed by Creem acting as our authorised Merchant of Record; Creem appears on your statement and issues your receipt and any applicable tax invoice.

You agree to use the Service lawfully and in line with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that Policy.

Route-books are produced by automated systems using public and third-party data and may contain errors, omissions or out-of-date information. See our AI Disclaimer. You are solely responsible for confirming your vehicle's actual dimensions and weight, road and bridge clearances, campsite availability, and current conditions before and during travel.

The Service, including its design, software and brand, is owned by us or our licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Service and your generated route-books for your own personal, non-commercial travel planning.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind to the maximum extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss arising from your reliance on AI-generated guidance. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law, including the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act, where it applies.

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or end your access for breach of these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers and limitation of liability) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes we will give reasonable notice (for example by email or in-app). Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, and the courts of New Zealand have non-exclusive jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you in your country of residence.
